In Djinee words ” When a child is genuinely happy and grateful, he/she shows uncontrollable joy. Sometimes he/she makes unintelligible sounds that tells the joy inside. Sometimes they go like din din dindin din. So i am going back to that child-like gratitude. Sincerely grateful for where i am, no matter what and telling everyone to do the same. So we all go like din din din din.”

This is what Eva has done with this project as she captures diverse sides of herself as an artist to create songs different from one to another.
With production credits from talented and seasoned producers- Tintin, Gray Jon’z, Bigfoot and Sossick, we expect to hear a collection of beautifully well produced sounds on this project. The first two singles off the EP ‘I Done did it’ and ‘Down Low’ have been a success for the talented femcee, topping the charts across Nigeria.

Bere Mole is one of the tracks on the “Overground”, Jahbless  features Reminisce (again!!) who was owing a mannequin…..SMH (we pray the mannequin accepts…AMEN!). The 3 minutes video was shot in a boutique set-up, with a behind the scene view.

GidiMusic: Rilwan – Legacy feat Dammy Krane

Popularly known as “Butter Boy“, Rilwan Bawa-Bwari (born July 24 1989) stage name Rilwanhas gradually grown into one of the fast rising stars in the country.
Though influence by Rock Music back in Kings College, the upcoming Nigerian rapper seeks to bring something new to the music industry, although his sound bends towards the rap spectrum. Fascinated by the art of Rap, Rilwan started experimenting with words and this led him to be part of a brotherhood of musician called Av’lanche Music in 2007.
This did not last long as one of the members parted ways and Rilwan chose to remain in the undeground scene until he got spotted by PLAY records, an Abuja based Record Label and came up with his 1st single tagged “EVERYNIGHT” which he co-produced with sazzy, who is also on the Chorus of the song.
The song is based on the euphoric experiences faced by every young man and woman in a cold world. As a follow up Rilwan teamed up with label mate BUSH and long time friend LYNXXX to bring to the people a remix for “EVERYNIGHT” which had heavy rotation on radio stations and clubs in Lagos and Abuja.
His new single – Legacy featuring Dammy Krane has the perfect blend of conscious content and fuji rhythm marinated over an amazing instrumental made by Spanky. The track was mixed by Snowzy in the PLAY Records Studio. Listen up and enjoy!

GidiFresh: SKALES drops two new singles

As promised, E.M.E (Empire Mates Entertainment) are PROUD to present the BRAND NEW singles from their very own rap star Skales titled “Mukulu” and “Keresimesi” with production courtesy of Sarz.
Leading with the instantly infectious and catchy “Mukulu” – which is well poised to top mainstream radio charts and fill up dance floors all over the continent in the coming months –Skales shows off his vibrant, flamboyant and “lover boy” side with clever and witty lyrics and a glorious hook that you will not be able to get out of your head as he confesses his luv and affection for his leading lady over this lush drums-led production courtesy of the one they call Sarz. I dare you to try and not sing “Ja mukulu Ja mukeke” and move your body to this one!

While “Mukulu” is a catchy infectious crowd-pleaser, “Keresimesi” is an instant head-banger with which Skales boldly and confidently stakes his claim on that African Hip-Hop throne as this Sarz-produced rap milieu laced with resounding drum kicks and blazing trumpets perfectly usher Skales right to his rap kingdom and wiith straight shooting lyrics  such as, “The new King of Alaba stores” and “I’m headed NOT just for a Grammy, I want it all“, Skales makes it clear to everybody listening that he is officially out – all guns blazing – and gunning for that number one spot!

HOT!!! GidiMusic: Davido – Dami Duro

The much-talked-about “Dami Duro” single from Davido is finally here! This is one of the best clubs songs this year, and just like his debut single “Back When” featuring Naeto C, this should turn out to be another hit. Personally, I think this is even better. Listen and judge for yourself. Feel free to dance while you’re at it.

With the continuous support of the pioneers in the music industry, as well as the very loyal fans of young talented musician/producer Davido, we are beyond excited to announce the official release of yet another hit and chart breaker, “Dami-Duro”. Davido’s first single, “Back When”, which came out earlier in the year and featured Naeto C, emerged as number one on numerous charts all around the country, and beyond. Without a doubt we are confident to say that his new single “Dami-Duro” will surpass that of “Back When”. The single was produced by Shizzi and co-produced by our very own Davido.
